Steve Mcghee is a media artist that themes his work based on real life tragedies. The reason he picks this theme is because he feels humans think their indestructible, but when some tragedies happen that affects everybody, people start to feel more human. He doesn’t try and glorify violence he tries to bring positive light, by being grateful and spreading awareness to the problems of society. His artwork creates a perspective of what it would be like to experience a tragedy close up.
The reason why I chose him was because I think hes spreading in important message about valuing your life while you have one, because no one thinks about these issues until they happen. We are all super fragile animals but we think we can do anything.
